Substrate type
Reinforcing layer of thermal insulation system, cement and cement-lime plasters, concrete substrates.

Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry, clean, stable, sound and properly seasoned (reinforcing layer at least 3 days after embedding mesh in adhesive, plaster – 28 days after application, seasoned concrete). Remove brittle and loose material of poor bonding strength, patch damages with ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. Treat loose or absorbing substrates with ALPOL AG 700 deep-penetrating primer. Treat the substrate with ALPOL AG 701 plaster primer at least 24 hours before applying the plaster. It is recommended to stain the primer to the colour of plaster.

Instructions for use
Carefully mix the plaster with low-speed mixer before application. Work continuously on a given surface to avoid differences in plaster texture. The surfaces should be joined using "wet on wet” technique. It is recommended that plasters of the same batch be applied to cover the entire surface. Application works should be stopped at colour joints, structure corners, under downpipes, etc.
Manual application: Apply with a stainless steel float, remove the excess and level to the grain thickness, and then trowel with a plastic float to achieve a dashed or pitted texture, as required.
Mechanical application: Dilute with small amount of water if necessary. Apply using a spraying gun with the so-called funnel, or a directly attached container that can hold up to 5 kg of the product. You can also use a special-purpose plaster unit with a container that can hold approximately 25 kg of the product. In such a case the product is fed by a screw pump through a hose into the spraying lance. In both cases, spraying is effected by compressed air supplied into the endpiece of the spraying nozzle. Adjust the air pressure in the nozzle accordingly (approx. 4 atm) and apply plaster evenly onto the substrate with smooth moves from a distance of about 40 cm. The product should be applied until a complete coverage is achieved. Do not overapply to avoid excessive use and damp patches.

Tools
Mixer or low-speed electric drill, basket mixer, stainless steel trowels and floats, plastic floats, compressor-based spraying gun or plaster unit.

Working conditions
Before use, check if the colour is as ordered. Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. The plaster must not be mixed with other plasters, binders, fillers or dyes not included in the staining system. Do not thin with water. Do not use dirty or rusty tools or containers. Avoid working in intense, direct sunlight, strong wind and high air humidity. Protect freshly applied plaster with a mesh. Incorrect conditions during plaster application and drying may result in discolouration and tint distortion.

Storage
In original, not damaged, tightly closed containers in temperature between +5°C and +25°C – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect the product from freezing and overheating.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity of (60±5)%. Drying and final setting time may vary in different conditions. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Protect your skin by using protective clothing and gloves. Keep away from children. Clean fresh stains with water. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by unskilled or inappropriate use of the product.
