The results of the competition “Floors and Walls – Good Choice 2008, organised by the “Floors and Walls” magazine, have been announced. This year, the jury decided to award prizes and distinctions to 29 products competing in 12 categories.
The objective of the organizers of the competition is to bring attention and to award prizes to such state-of-the-art products of unquestioned quality, distinctive design and usability, which became present in the Polish market during the last two-three years. The criteria the jury applies in the assessment of materials competing for the main prize and distinctions are: innovative solutions, prime quality of the material, design and usability, good value for money, compliance with valid standards and consumer code.
In this year’s (sixth) edition of the competition, 79 products were competing for the “Good Product” title in 12 categories: ceramic tiles, wooden floors, laminated floors, decorative paper, paint, plaster, wallpaper, ceiling, chemicals for wood, surface treatment products, tile adhesives, joint grouting products, waterproofing, thermal and sound insulation materials.
ALPOL AGS 17 flexible gypsum putty, for hand filling of joints between drywall panels without reinforcing tape, received distinction in the category “Surface treatment products”. The award ceremony was held in the Palace Hotel in Warsaw.
