Kuźnice Koneckie 2008
2008-07-10
Kuźnice Koneckie is an outdoor event of a nation-wide range, held annually in July, on the premises of the Museum of Zagłębie Staropolskie in Sielpia and an ancient Rolling Mill and Nail Factory in Maleniec. The aim of the event is to promote the cultural heritage of the Old-Polish Industrial Zone [Staropolski Okręg Przemysłowy], as well as the tourist value of the Konecki poviat. The Kuźnice Koneckie event includes elements that refer to the cultural and social specificity of the Końskie area.

As every year, the organisers – the Poviat Authority in Końskie and Wszechnica Konecka, the Association for the Promotion of Poviat Development – prepared many attractions for the visitors. One of them was a staging that commemorated the historical event of King Władysław Jagiełło’s passage through the land of Końskie on his way to Grunwald.
The attractiveness of the event was enhanced by generosity of the sponsors, including ALPOL GIPS, which also presented its stand during the event.
