NEW! ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster

New silicate and silicone plaster mortars have been added to the range of ALPOL products:

New ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster mortars are intended for hand application both on a building facade and inside a building. Supplied as ready-to-use mixture, the compound provides a durable and steam-permeable coat which allows the wall to “breathe”. The material offers low water absorption and great flexibility. The facade coat of ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster is exceptionally durable and resistant both, to chemical and mechanical factors. With its electrostatic neutrality and exceptionally low absorption, the material surface easily cleans off itself. Heavy rainfall is all that is needed to refresh the façade. The ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster offer low water absorption and great resistance to harsh substances contained both in the substrate and the ambient air. Moreover, with the use of modified silicate bonder, the following is eliminated:

the thermo-plasticity effect, i.e. the surface viscosity after exposure to heat and permanent adhesion of dust particles,
the hydro-plasticity effect, i.e. plaster swelling during prolonged soaking.

With ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster a very low diffusion resistance is achieved and steam condensation is avoided inside the structural material or thermal-insulation courses. ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster is available in as much as 147 colours and other aggregate fractions from 1 to 2.5 mm. ALPOL silicate and silicone plaster advantages:

micro-pore surface allowing steam diffusion,

great repellence to absorption of rainwater and harsh substances contained in it; water-resistant coat on the entire area,

considerable reduction of dirt on plaster surface with the self-cleaning ability with rainwater (or surface washing allowed),

excellent adhesion to the substrate and resistance to abrasion, algae deposit and UV radiation.
