Substrate preparation
Remove residue of adhesive from joints, clean them and dedust before grouting and then moisten with water. Tiles of high water absorption should be moistened intensively. Check tile resistance to discolouration.

Instructions for use
Mix the contents of the packaging with recommended amount of cold and fresh water and stir manually or mechanically to bring the mixture to homogenous and required consistency. Allow 5 minutes and stir the prepared mix again. Apply the mix onto the tiles, spreading it diagonally, with the use of a trowel or a hard rubber grout knife to fill the joints between them. Then, remove the excess mix. After ca. 10 minutes, start levelling the joint surface with a moist sponge, rinsing it frequently. Do not rub the joint surface too much with a too damp sponge. This will reduce the hardening capacity, impair the water beading effect and may lead to discolouration of the joints. Smoothen the joint surface with a thoroughly squeezed out sponge within 30 minutes from application. Remove mist from tile surface after the grout has set. The grout remains workable for 40-50 minutes after being mixed with water. If the grout thickens in that period of time, stir it again without adding water. Adding too much water impairs all grout characteristics: strength, setting time and durability. It may also cause discolouration. Use grouts of the same batch number to avoid different shades.

Tools
Low-speed electric mixer, grout mixer, grout knife, rubber float, putty knife, trowel, grout spreader, fine-pore sponges.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Do not add any other agents. Protect freshly applied grout from moisture and excessive drying.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 24 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (23±2)°C and relative air humidity of (50±5)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt from tiles or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
