For machine application of internal plaster coatings of surface category III and compressive strength category CS I, on walls and ceilings, regardless of humidity inside rooms. Provides an excellent underlay for ceramic lining, decorative plaster, finish coat and paint. With its fungus-resistant properties, especially recommended for demanding sanitary areas. Recommended plaster coat thickness from 8 to 25 mm. The plaster can also be applied by hand. Granularity up to 1.0 mm.

Substrate type
Walls made of ceramic and silicate bricks and blocks as well as of cellular concrete blocks. Walls and ceilings made of concrete and concrete elements. Old, not weathered cement-lime plaster.
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and free from dirt, dust and grease. Remove paint coats from old and durable plasters, patch irregularities and chipped plaster with ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. Treat loose substrates with ALPOL AG 700 primer whereas highly absorptive substrates coat with ALPOL AG 708 primer for absorbing substrates, or apply initial scratch coat using ALPOL AT 303. Moisten dry substrate with plenty of water before applying the scratch coat. Apply initial scratch coat with ALPOL AT 303 on ceramic and concrete substrates. On small concrete surfaces, it is allowed to prepare the substrate with ALPOL AG 702 primer instead of applying the initial scratch coat. Points susceptible to cracking, e.g. at interfaces of different construction materials and corners of openings, should be strengthened with fibre glass reinforcing mesh size at least 8x8 mm, by embedding it directly in mortar . When applying the plaster on a substrate coated previously with a scratch coat of ALPOL AT 303, allow at least 3-day process break for the millimetre of the initial scratch coat thickness, and, before plaster application, moisten the surface along with the scratch coat using water.
Instructions for use
Use plaster units to apply the plaster onto the entire area to be worked on during one working cycle. Process the plaster in two stages. First, apply the plaster onto the surface, skim with H-type darby, patch any dents and level out the entire surface. Leave the surface treated that way for around 10-24 hours (depending on substrate absorption, weather conditions and plaster coat thickness) until initial plaster setting takes place. The works can be resumed when the plaster has set cured that it becomes “dusty” when skimming with the darby is continued, and no fresh material is torn out of the surface. When resuming the work too late, the plaster will have set too much which will make it difficult to work, require more work and might make it impossible to achieve the right finish. In the second stage, level the surface carefully cutting the excess of plaster with a trapezoidal darby. Then sprinkle the levelled surface with water and finish the surface with a polystyrene float. To achieve fine structure, finish the plaster with the use of dry float with fine and soft sponge or felt. Use a power trowel to get an ideally smooth and even finish. Apply the plaster in two coats if it is required to be thicker than recommended. Apply the first coat as a basecoat, level with a darby and leave until fully cured (at least 7 days per every centimetre of thickness), protecting from excessive drying in the first day. Moisten the basecoat (underlay plaster) with plenty of water before applying the second coat.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Do not add any other agents. Protect fresh plasterwork from excessive drying and moisture. Do not use electrical heaters (to avoid shrinkage cracks) or gas heaters (to avoid shrinkage and carbonisation process.)
Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.
Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (202)°C and relative air humidity of (655)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by unskilled or inappropriate use of the product.
