Substrate type
Concrete substrates, cement and cement-lime plasters, walls made of brick, gypsum and cellular concrete blocks, cement floors, felt paper, Styrofoam thermal insulation.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be sound, free from dirt and substances which may impair adhesion. The substrate can be either dry or a little damp. New plaster work and concrete should be set and seasoned. Old, loose, brittle and peeling material of poor adhesion should be removed. Any chipped areas should be patched with ALPOL AZ 130 quick setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar.

Instructions for use
For priming substrates to be waterproofed, use ALPOL AH 740 emulsion thinned with water in proportion 1:9 (emulsion – water). In case of substrate to be covered with torch-on membrane, use 1:4 solution (emulsion – water). Use a brush or a masonry brush to apply one coat onto the substrate. When used for light-weight waterproofing of foundations and basement walls, apply minimum two coats of emulsion thinned with water in proportion 1:1, also using a brush or a masonry brush. Another coat can be applied after the previous one has dried out, i.e. after around 3 hours.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Do not add any agents to the compound, except for water. Protect from excessive drying and moisture.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect the product from freezing. Transport at the minimum temperature of +5°C.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (23±2)°C and relative air humidity of (50±5)%. The drying time may alter in different conditions. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Protect your skin. Use protective clothing and gloves. Keep away from children. Use water for cleaning tools. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
