FAQ

Pursuant to Appendix II to the REACH regulation, the Material Safety Data Sheet containing 16 points, is a means of conveying appropriate information to product users on the safety issues in relation to classified substances and preparations. In particular, the Material Safety Data Sheet allows an employer to find out whether there are hazardous chemical factors present in the workplace, and to assess the resultant hazards to health and safety of employees. The supplier is under obligation to submit the Material Safety Data Sheet at the client’s request. The Material Safety Data Sheet is supplied free of charge in a hard copy or, as in our case, in an electronic version. However, should the user or distributor not request the Material Safety Data Sheet, it does not have to be supplied, provided that the hazardous substances or preparations sold to public are distributed with a relevant information allowing the users to take necessary measures for the protection of human health, safety and environment. All packages of our products classified as irritating contain tables indicating the risks involved (the so-called R phrases) and indications on the conditions for safe use (the so-called S phrases).
