FAQ

The hygienic certificate is obligatory only in case of materials and products used for water treatment. In any other cases, the PZH (National Institute of Hygiene) certificate is issued at a voluntary request of the manufacturer. It is, therefore, not an obligatory document that the supervision inspector may require.
As regards the declaration of conformity, the regulations explicitly state that each manufacturer of building materials is obliged to issue the declaration of conformity prior to putting the product into market. Such declaration, however, is kept by the manufacturer who submits it for verification if requested by authorised bodies. That is why, no manufacturer of building products is under obligation to make such documents available to any third parties. A copy of the declaration of conformity can be made available only in the manufacturer’s goodwill.
