As regards masonry walls of YTONG blocks (cellular concrete), we recommend the so-called thin-layer mortars. We can recommend white ALPOL AZ 116 (or grey AZ 115) thin-layer mortar for cellular concrete, available in our offer. It is perfectly suited for building internal and external masonry walls with thin joint of between 1 and 3 mm in thickness.
All you should bear in mind is that the construction works should be performed in ambient temperatures between + 5 and 30°C, and fresh masonry work should be protected from excessive drying and moisture.
